Kent Cultural Baton

Inspired by the first ordnance survey map of Kent produced in 1801,the Baton, a converted 1950′s Airstream caravan, is reseaching and charting the unknown or hidden cultural aspects of Kent.

A series of free workshops and events will be tailor made for each host of the Baton, which will invite visitors to engage, explore and discover through drawing, photography, sound and film.  These events will gather significant stories and images that relate to places, people and folklore and will be continually updated to a campaign microsite that will be curated by artist, Nicole Mollett who will gradually create a new map of Kent.
