Take part in a unique experience at All Saints Church in Brixworth on Saturday 17th September. For one night only, watch a spectacular light ‘illumination’ and digital art projection transform this famous 7th century Anglo-Saxon Church into a magical art piece.
This event is part of SHINE, a unique project that celebrates Northamptonshire’s heritage through several historic churches within the Legacy Trust UK funded IGNITING AMBITION FESTIVAL 2011 and UK Cultural Olympiad.
SHINE will provide an online website repository of heritage information to include photos, videos, music and stories connected with the church and its associated town or village.
SHINE will culminate in the autumn of 2011 with a series of outdoor multi-site illuminated exhibition events at historic churches including Brixworth, Earls Barton, Northampton, Rothwell and Oundle.
