This week is set to bloom as the DP Team head off to unearth gardens – hidden gardens, roof top gardens, window sill gardens, hanging gardens and potential garden
I was lucky enough to be trained in the art of window sill gardening by my god daughter Bobbie. There were white and cream roses, orange gerburas and the soil was brand new from the garden compost – full of the wriggliest worms in the world. I was briefed in how to plant the plants, pack the soil and then give this beautiful new garden a good long drink of water.
We think her garden is not only a window sill garden but it is a hidden garden as you have to look up a long way to see it perched. But from inside her room Bobbie will get a front row seat as the garden blossoms.
I hope you enjoy the week as we plant our stories and discoveries and enjoy your contributions
